With over 16 years’ service in the British Army, including as Chief Army Paramedic, Ty Jewell MBE has led medical operations in some of the world’s most demanding environments. A specialist in austere and remote medicine, he has worked globally across military, rescue, counter-terrorism, and expedition settings.

Now Medical Director of The Soteria Group, Ty combines frontline experience with leadership in clinical education, policy, and innovation. As an instructor, he integrates Lifesystems first aid kits into his course curriculum, and also personally relies on them for their proven performance in critical, real-world scenarios.
